We are a small company in size but big in heart and intention.  Ital Blends was born after being in the corporate jungle for over 20 years and feeling totally burnt out. I kept feeling like something was missing from my life, like there was something out there for me to accomplish, something to call my very own.  

I was always drawn to the natural, simple way of life, alternative therapy, yoga, self exploration etc., and realized that on our small island, the choices for natural soaps and body care products that were locally made was very limited. 

The wondrous benefits of goats’ milk

Realizing the absolutely wondrous benefits of goats’ milk through many discussions with my alternative practitioner, I got so fascinated and felt a burning in my soul to pursue it.  I made gifts for my friends and family and everyone absolutely loved it! With reports coming back to me about how wonderful their skin felt, with signs of eczema disappearing after only a week of using our soap, I felt complete. 

After many many years of research, trials, recipes etc., and with one particular customer’s urging I said to my fiancé David, “let’s do this…properly, as that’s the only way I know how.  That would mean money, and lots of it.”  Despite the fact that we were strapped financially because we were building our dream home, he jumped in with his two feet and we made soap more than we made love. 

Our Products

Our products are made right in the heartbeat of Jamaica.  With each and every batch that’s made, prayers, blessings and positive intention are an integral part of our process, and indeed our success.  My mother Sandra (who, by the way is my main soldier) fell in the production line, and we were in business. My son Jovan is our assistant soap stacker and cutter and my aunt and uncle head our marketing team.

Why the name "Ital Blends"

We may be a small (but growing in strength and stride) company, but I felt an important part of our beautiful product was the “clothing” they would wear…I felt it was very important that it reflect what was put into our products - love, elegance and passion! 

Why the choice of the name of our company and our series lines?   The answer is simple, my love for my country, its people and our language…

The Ital Blends series is uniquely boutique, made with love, care and is a welcome alternative to mass produced products.

Ital Blends offers spas, salons, gift shops, pharmacies and other retailers quality all natural, handmade body care products using natural ingredients, goat's milk and healing herbs. Both our retail and wholesale customers have experienced for themselves that our products are effective.
